Chocolate Brownie Milkshake is a leftover recipe. If there is any such thing as leftover brownie! 😉 This drool worthy, lip smacking milkshake is an absolute kids favorite. Make these for your child’s next birthday and get praises from all your little guests.
For first, yes I did manage to save some brownies from my dessert loving husband. He kept asking me to finish making my recipe else he was tempted to finish it all off. I really had a hard time keeping his hands away from these brownies. I lured him saying that he will get to have a brownie milkshake instead. We had got these brownies for the kids in our group when we all went for a picnic to a nearby park. It was a fun day. We played Badminton and Cricket after long. It was a day filled with laughter and playfulness. The kids too enjoyed their day exploring the park. The brownies that we had got, were quickly disappearing until the mothers noticed it and somehow convinced them to stop.
So when we got the leftovers back home, my husband had already set his eyes on them. I did let him have a couple of brownies and then quickly managed to make my milkshake. I was in such a hurry that I forgot to take a picture of these mini muffins before churning them. Sigh! Anyways, the end result was this thick, creamy milkshake filled with the goodness of a brownie. I am having a major dessert hangover now. Well, we actually had it for breakfast. 😉
It’s really a very simple recipe. You can use leftover cake/brownie and blend it with milk, vanilla essence and ice cream. If you need to sweeten it a bit more, add honey.
Add some cream on top when serving, along with some chunks of brownie and chocolate syrup for garnish.
I am sure you will finish your glass in a jiffy. We both did. KR was even asking for more. 🙂 That is what I love about this quick-fix recipes. Be it Eggless Blueberry Mug Cake, Chocolate Mug Cake or even Mango Mastani. They are all so easy and quick to make and can be enjoyed as dessert as well as for breakfast. Of course you have an option to go low-fat wherever possible.
- 4-5 chocolate brownies
- 1.5 cups whole milk
- 2-3 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
- Chocolate syrup for garnish
- Whipped cream
- In a blender add all the ingredients except the chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Blend to a milkshake. When serving, add the cream, top it with some chunks of brownie and drizzle the chocolate syrup. Serve chilled.
- You can try this with chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla.
- Try the milkshake with different brownie flavors.

Whenever I have guests over, they always want to know where I got these glasses from. These are my prized possession. I love serving in them as it adds an element to the drink I am serving. You can get it from here.
