I love quick fix rice recipes. There are so many out there. There is Lemon Rice, Soya Pulav or Cilantro Pot Rice (Spinach infused) which you can try. These flavored rice can be enjoyed by themselves or with any curry. However the one that I made today was the most easiest and simplest rice recipe. Plus barring the time taken to boil the rice, the dish was ready in 5 minutes. So if you ever have sudden guests over or if you are craving to eat rice then this can be your go to recipe!
1 cup cooked rice
1 tbsp of black sesame seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1-2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp ghee/clarified butter
In a deep dish pan, heat the ghee. Temper with cumin and sesame seeds. Fry the garlic for 2 minutes.
Now add the cooked rice and salt. Mix it well.
Sesame flavored Rice is ready, as promised in 5 minutes! The flavor of black sesame seeds really enhances the flavor of this dish. Serve this with any curry like Garlicky Potatoes, Fusion gravy or Mutter Paneer to name a few.
