In a bowl, combine chickpea flour and rice flour.
Next, add add dry spices like turmeric, garam masala, asafoetida.
After that, add the sesame seeds in addition to the cumin seeds.
Then, add the chopped cilantro minced green chilies, and ginger paste. Next, add the shredded cabbage.
Add salt & make a very thick batter by adding enough water. You can add Eno (fruit salt) at this point if desired.
Finally, pour the batter in a greased steaming dish and steam it for 10-15 mins.
Check to see if the batter is done by inserting a knife in the center. It should come out clean.Cool completely.
Cut the cooled mixture into squares if desired. You can even fry them in oil for a more crispy flavor.
You can also bake them at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes.
