Breaded Mushrooms and Avocado Slices are two snacks I enjoy from Farm Rich, made with wholesome ingredients, quick-frozen and carefully packaged. Serve them with a delicious dip like this Avocado Mint Yogurt Dipping sauce and/or Sweet Mango Chutney.
Let’s admit it! In today’s day and time, we all lead a very busy life. No one has time for anything that is not instant! From food to communication, everything happens at the press of a button. While we all are in some race or the other, I feel we must not compromise on relations and health. We must wisely make choices that are good for our body and for our soul. Therefore, when it comes to food, I do not like to compromise and trust certain brands more over others.
Farm Rich is one such food brand. For busy parents who want to raise good kids and have happy families, Farm Rich is the brand that celebrates doing it “our way,” and supports our quest to live fully alongside the chaos of everyday life by offering easy, wholesome, feel-good food solutions that we are happy to serve which our families will love. It believes in taking the everyday and making it delicious! Farm Rich products are easily available in many
grocery stores nationwide in the Freezer aisle. They are difficult to miss. Today, I feature two of their products – Avocado Slices and Breaded Mushrooms because I love them!
The Avocado Slices product is one of the latest in their snack collection available now at select Walmart and Mejier stores (and Kroger soon!)! Farm Rich Avocado Slices are cut from premium Hass avocados and coated with an ancho chile pepper breading, and are perfect alone or with the included Jalapeño Ranch Dipping Sauce to add a little kick. However, I have prepared a delicious Sweet Mango Chutney to go with it. It’s hot and sweet dipping sauce/chutney made with ripe mangoes.
The Breaded Mushrooms item is personal favorite as I love mushrooms and these are made with whole white button mushrooms. Practically everyone likes a good breaded mushroom. So I am pretty sure you’re going to love this one. Farm Rich Mushrooms, whether you fry them or stick them in the oven, are out of this mushroom world. They’ll remind you of the ones you gushed over in a restaurant, only the table you’ll serve these on will be your own! I have served it with Avocado Mint Yogurt Sauce with grilled jalapeno in it to give a hot and fiery taste. And yes, its #NationalMushroomMonth so there’s no better time to enjoy these.
These appetizers are great for entertaining. You can make them in large batches and serve them to a crowd. These munchy snacks are so addictive that they will be devoured within seconds when served. Serve them as an after-school snack, for your next tailgating party or at the next family brunch. You can either fry them in an air fryer, bake in the oven or toaster oven. There are clear instructions on the package which you can follow to make the products. These snacks can be made in a jiffy and require no prep work. The two dips featured here can be made in advance and refrigerated to be used when needed.
Here is how you can prepare the Sweet Mango Chutney. Heat ghee in a pan. Sauté chopped onions and minced ginger and sauté it for a minute. Then add the chopped mangoes, jaggery powder, tamarind paste and curry powder. Add salt and cook on low flame until it all turns soft and mushy. It will take about 20 minutes. Take it off the pan and transfer it to a serving bowl. Cool it completely and serve with breaded Farm Rich Avocado Slices.
Here is how to prepare the Avocado Mint Yogurt Dip. Grill jalapeno. In a grinder, add mint leaves, grilled jalapeno, avocado, lemon juice, salt, garlic powder and yogurt. Blitz to a smooth and creamy consistency. Take it out in a serving bowl. Serve with freshly baked Farm Rich Breaded Mushrooms.
