This Vegan Jota is a hearty smoky bean and sauerkraut hotpot, is simple in itself to make, and is perfect during cooler weather – by Yumsome.
The Slovenian cuisine is not uniform, but diverse and influenced by the diversity of Slovenian landscape, climate, history and neighboring cultures. While its largely used ingredient is meat, this particular dish is vegan. Hence I chose this recipe to be featured on my blog today. This Jata is insanely easy to make, is frugal, it freezes well, and will keep in an airtight container in the ‘fridge for up to a week. A power packed bean dish for the whole family.
As you all know by now, this May month is extra special for me as it’s my birthday month and the birth of my beautiful niece.
