5 days of a working week call for 5 varieties of Banana smoothies! One for each day to keep you going. It all started with my husband. We are usually pressed for time in the mornings like most of us are. So I always prefer quick fix breakfasts which are ready in a jiffy with very less prep time. Smoothies surely come to my rescue in such situations. We have Blueberry Milkshake or Mango Orange Sunrise or Cherry Vanilla Protein Shake on most days. While we are on this subject, you can check out these easy breakfast recipes – Rawa Paniyaram, Mini Veggie Fritters, Eggless Blueberry Mug Cake or Oats and Flax Seed Idli.
Banana is a versatile fruit to experiment with. Hence I took a challenge upon myself to come up with 5 kinds of Banana Smoothie, one for each day. I had a lot of fun making these while my husband enjoyed gulping them down. All these smoothies literally take 5 minutes to make. They are hearty, can keep you full for a couple of hours. So yes they are a very good breakfast option. You can make them vegan too. You can also have them for dessert if you like.
