Peel the carrots and chop them roughly. Soak brown rice, oats and urad dal for 30 minutes. Strain the water and add them all to a mixer grinder along with the carrots.
Add dried red chillies, salt and asafoetida to it. Blitz to a smooth paste by adding enough water to give it a batter consistency. Now this is instant dosa, therefore you can begin to prepare the dosa immediately. Heat a non stick tawa, pour a laddle full of batter and shape it like a pancake.
Apply oil on all sides and cook both sides evenly. Serve with Amla Thokku/Chutney/Sambhar.
