  • There is no need to soak the green beans before cooking them. Just wash and dry them, then trim both ends.
  • Add the green beans to a bowl or a container.
  • Drizzle olive oil, red pepper flakes, white wine vinegar and coconut aminos.
  • Add the sliced garlic, onion powder, and sesame seeds.
  • Then add salt, breadcrumbs, and Parmesan cheese. Toss them all together.
  • Transfer the green beans to the air fryer basket and arrange into a single layer. Try not to overcrowd.
  • Set the timer to 8 minutes and temperature to 370 degrees F. Air fry till they turn crispy.
  • Take them out of the air fryer carefully.

Notes

This recipe is very customizable. Add toasted almonds, nutritional yeast, lemon zest, parsley, onions, etc to make it more flavorful.
If you feel the green beans are still hard after cooking, continue to cook in two-minute increments until the desired tenderness is achieved.
In general, when air frying you should keep a watchful eye on the food you are cooking for the first time. Keep cooking in increments as every air fryer is different.
