Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated paneer
  • 2 tbsp processed cheese
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 3-4 green chillies
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2-3 tbsp SalemvilleĀ® Amish Blue Cheese Crumbles
  • 1 cup cooked corn
  • 2-3 tbsp white sauce
  • Salt as required
  • Pepper as required
  • 1/2 cup maida/flour
  • water as required
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add grated paneer, processed cheese, minced garlic and green chillies, chopped cilantro, SalemvilleĀ® Amish Blue Cheese Crumbles and cooked corn (Boil corn in salt water, drain and use). You can also coarsely grind the corn, but I have used it as a whole. Then add white sauce to bind the mixture together. Check seasonings and add salt and pepper if required. Shape them as small balls. Combine flour with water to get a coating consistency. Dip these balls in it and then roll in bread crumbs. Keep these refrigerated for 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile heat oil for frying. Fry these corn balls in medium flame until they turn golden. Strain onto a paper towel to soak the excess oil. Serve them hot along with ketchup/chutney.
