First step is to wash the apples well and scrape off the wax on them with a knife. Chop them finely using a chopper.
Transfer it to a bowl and add lemon juice to it. Let the apples rest in there till you prepare the mousse.
In another mixing bowl, add softened cream cheese along with sugar.
Then add Kesar Pista powder and lite sour cream.
Using a hand blender, beat the mixture till light and creamy.
Then strain the apples and add them to this bowl. Add chopped pistachios and the fold in the mixture.
Portion into small bowls or glass jars. Place them into the refrigerator and allow it to chill for 2 hours.
Before serving, garnish it with some chopped apples, saffron strands and chopped pistachios.
