Rose Sandesh

Sandesh is an all-time favorite Bengali Sweet & here's how you can prepare this rose flavored Indian dessert at home with paneer. A no-cook festive recipe!

  • 2 cups paneer
  • 6-8 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp rose essence
  • 4 tbsp rose syrup
  • Pistachios for garnish


  • Crumble paneer, add sugar, rose essence and rose syrup. Mix well. Add this mixture to a blender and pulse for 30 seconds. This is just to bring the mixture together. Scrape it off from the blender and shape them into your desired shape. Place a pistachio in the center and refrigerate it for 30 minutes. This stays good for 4-5 days if refrigerated. Serve chilled.
