  • 2 oranges
  • 100 gms baby carrots
  • 150 gms cantaloupe
  • 8-10 nos mint leaves
  • ½ teaspoon black salt
  • ½ teaspoon ginger powder
  • ½ cup water or as required
  • 5-6 ice cubes

Instructions

  • Peel and add the orange slices to a blender jar.
  • Add the chopped cantaloupe pieces.
  • Next, add the chopped baby carrots. Chef Tip: There’s no need to peel baby carrots. If your blender isn’t very powerful, chop them into smaller pieces. or grate them first so they blend smoothly.
  • Add the mint leaves, ginger powder, and black salt.
  • Pour in water and add a few ice cubes.
  • Blend until smooth. Sieving this Carrot and Orange Juice is optional. When it’s time to serve, add ice cubes to your glasses and pour in this refreshing, sugar-free Orange Ginger Carrot Juice.

Notes

If you’re using regular carrots, you can leave the skin on since many nutrients are concentrated there — just be sure to wash and scrub them thoroughly. Baby carrots don’t need to be peeled and add extra fiber to this Carrot Orange Ginger Juice. You can choose to sieve it or enjoy it as is. If you do strain it, use a fine mesh sieve or a nut milk bag — and don’t toss the leftover pulp! It’s packed with fiber and can be added to muffins, soups, or smoothies, or frozen to use later.
