Cool Cucumber Lemonade is one of the most refreshing drinks you will ever have. The tangy flavor of the lemon and the coolness of cucumber makes this lemonade a party favorite! I would not have believed if you told me this till I tried to make this myself. Cucumber Lemonade?? I can eat them raw but have it as a juice, I had my doubts. I heard about this drink at a local bar and it intrigued me. I have made lemonade before so I figured this one would mean adding cucumber juice in it. I never imagined that this drink would taste so good.
Initially I had to planned to make this drink for KR as I didn’t just think that I may enjoy it that much. How wrong I was! This drink is so damn refreshing. Cucumbers in it bring in a certain freshness and coolness to this lemonade. I was just glad that I tried this drink and kept sipping on it throughout the day. It was working like wine for me. With every sip I kept thinking that why didn’t I make this earlier. It’s a ridiculously simple recipe. Just roughly chop the cucumber after peeling it. In a blender, add them along with fresh lemon juice, salt and sugar. You can add ice cubes as well. Blend it.
No straining is required. Serve chilled.
I am surely going to make this the next time I have guests over. You can also have this post workout. This lemonade will surely keep you refreshed all day.
- 1 cucumber
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/3 cup water/soda
- 1 tsp salt and sugar
- Ice cubes (optional)
