Mince garlic using this garlic chopper. Cut paneer into squares. In a flat pan, shallow fry them till they turn golden. Keep them aside.
Heat another pan, melt butter, fry minced garlic, ginger paste and bay leaf for a minute. Then add tomato puree, salt and chilly powder. Mix and saute this mixture for 5-7 minutes on medium flame.
The tomato gravy will start to thicken. Now add the slit green chillies, kasoori methi and fresh cream. Give it a good mix. Let it cook for a minute or 2. Add the fried paneer pieces before serving.
Paneer Makhani is ready. Serve it hot with some naan or Sesame flavored Rice or even Saffron Rice.
