    Popsicles all year through

I am one of those who feels that popsicles need not be limited to Summers! They can be made and had all year round! We want popsicles in every season! Agree?

Ice pops are always welcome because you can serve them on many occasions. You can enjoy them as a light snack, midnight snack, at kids' birthday parties, or as a light dessert post a meal.

    Mango and Peach

I first tried this combo at a Mexican place. I loved the flavors in the salsa and that's why I thought of pairing these two fruits to create a fun popsicle recipe.

Mango is high in natural sugars vitamin C, and fiber, while peach is high in potassium. They both are rich in vitamin K. This mango-peach medley is loved by all because it is delicious!

Instead of making regular popsicles, I decided to make creamsicles! Creamsicles are generally made with vanilla ice cream and orange. They have a creamy texture.

To give it a new and different flavor, I have used mangoes and peaches to make these creamsicles.

    Why make this

This fruit popsicle/creamsicle is packed with tropical flavors. Instantaneous pick me up – guaranteed!!

    • They are refreshing, and tasty
    • Quick and easy to make
    • 4-ingredient recipe
    • Colorful and vibrant
    • Loved by kids and adults
    • It can easily be made vegan (read notes below)

    Ingredients needed

all the ingredients needed to make mango peach creamsicles placed on a table with labels on them
    Needs just 4 ingredients!

Mangoes - I like to use the sweetest variety of mangoes for this recipe like Alphonso or sweet Texas mangoes. Use fresh, frozen mangoes or pulp.

Peaches - Look for firm peaches with a pleasant aroma. It should not be too hard or too soft to touch. It should have some give. You can also use frozen peaches. Peeling is optional.

Water or even orange juice can be added for that extra tanginess. Soda can also be used.

A good Blender and Popsicle molds are the only two things you will need to make these yummy mango-peach popsicles.

    Here's how to make it

    Blend it all together!
    1. Wash, peel and chop the mangoes and peaches. Keep the skin on the peaches if you want. Add them both to a blender.
    2. Pour the condensed milk. Add the vanilla extract.
    3. Blend till smooth. There is no need to add water. Only add if its too thick to blend.
    4. Fill 3/4th of the popsicle molds with the puree and freeze for 6-8 hours or overnight.

    Serving suggestions

Serve these creamsicles when they are set. If you like a little kick, sprinkle some chili-lime salt on top. You can also serve this as a frozen drink or smoothie (after thinning it a bit).

Kids can enjoy it with a drizzle of chocolate sauce on top. Blend in some vanilla ice cream to make these mango peach creamsicles or popsicles more indulgent.

Have this for breakfast instead of a smoothie, as a between-meals snack, after-school snack, as a midnight snack when the craving hits, or as a quick dessert post a meal.

If you live in a hot and humid place like Bombay or Florida, then these ice pops are perfect to beat the heat any time of the year.

    Top tips, recommendations, and suggestions

If using frozen fruits, just ensure they are just fruits and not with any added sugar or preservatives.

In case these fruits are seasonal where you live, you can always cut and freeze some to be used all year through.

If the fruits are not sweet enough, then add some simple syrup or any other sweetener till you get the desired sweetness.

If you like a more tart flavor, add some orange juice or lemonade instead of water. For an iced tea flavor, mix in some green tea.

Throw in some plums, strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries to make these fruit popsicles more delicious! You can also use nectarines instead of peaches.

Turn them into cocktail ice pops by adding rum, vodka, tequila, or peach schnapps liqueur, because, why not!

    Don't have popsicle molds

It's ok if you don't have popsicle molds. You can use ice cube trays, small cups, small yogurt containers, muffin trays, glasses, kulfi molds, or bowls.

    How to make it vegan

Instead of condensed milk, you can also use coconut condensed milk or full-fat coconut milk with 4-5 dates to make these mango peach creamsicles/popsicles.
