Mango - I have used homemade mango pulp. You can also use store-bought mango pulp. Just read the labels to check if no extra sugar is added. You can also use fresh or frozen ripe mangoes.

This mango shake with avocado is very thick and creamy. If you want, add a cup of water or ice cubes while blending to dilute the consistency. There is no need to strain this oat milk smoothie.

Feel free to use mango in any form. It can be half a cup of freshly made or canned mango pulp, two fresh mangoes, or a cup of chopped frozen mangoes. Any of these will work.
To speed up the ripening process of an avocado, place it in a paper bag for up to 24-48 hours. The green avocados turn dark green or black when ripe. Squeeze it lightly. It should be slightly soft. If the avocado feels mushy, it is overripe and if it still feels firm, it is under-ripe. If you have extra avocados that have become ripe, freeze them. Use frozen avocado in smoothie recipes like these.
I have used homemade Vegan Honey in this recipe. You can use maple syrup, agave, dates, fruit jam, sugar, dried figs, apricots, candied ginger, honey (if not vegan), or any other sweetener of choice. If the mangoes are sweet enough or using sweetened dairy-free milk, then skip adding any sweeteners.
I prefer using dairy-free creamers (like oat milk creamer) when making smoothies. It will give this Avocado Mango Smoothie a creamier consistency. You can also use any vegan milk like oat milk, flax milk, hemp milk, almond milk, coconut milk (that comes in a carton, not a can), or cashew milk. I didn’t have any bread for toast, so was looking for something with mango and avocado for breakfast and found this! Very delicious and smooth, but consistency was too thick to sip, so I added a lot more liquid. I think next time I’ll try water rather than the plant milk.
